Funding advice and Fees
When you have decided that you or your loved one needs an extra help in the home, one of the biggest worries can be how will that care be paid for. Local Authority and Government funding is available, and that should be your first point of contact. Please contact your Local Authority directly for funding help when you have spoken to us about your options. Please note that this is means-tested and thoughts of possibly having to release equity from one’s home can be very confusing and distressing, particularly for those with dementia or learning disabilities.
Financial Arrangements and Fees
We are committed to providing value for money within our comprehensive and caring service.
The fees we charge, for our personalised care, are similar to the fees you would expect to pay as a single patient in a care home, but considerably cheaper for a couple. Our fees are dependent on the type of care package and needs of the individual service user. Depending on the personal financial situation, a Service User can either pay the fees privately or receive benefits arranged by Social Services through the Local Authority.
